Plastic Injection Molding vs 3D Printing

A Real Taiwan Mold Factory’s Point of View on “Plastic injection Molding vs 3D printing” topic…….
In comparing with real injection molding job….
1). 3D printing is only for a quick “rough” build for a new idea or
a new product (because it is not precision enough in size and
in surface)
2). 3D printing product still can not be used for actual functional
testing.
Though we can build up 3D printer and manage 3D printing samples in house, we still doubt its practical usage in industrial injection molding production….welcome to discuss with us if you have any thought….!
